PROFESSIONAL DANCE TRAINING: MUSIC AND MOVEMENT
In these four independent training units, music and movement are regarded as equal partners. Among the questions that will be raised are: What relationships can be established between music and movement beyond conventional “movement accompaniment”? How can synaesthetic abilities – e.g., “seeing music” and “hearing movement” – be utilized in the creative process? What can silence mean?
