WHO IS WHO Waltraud Luley Administrator of Dore Hoyer’s choreographic legacy (D) Born 1915 in Riga, Latvia. Trained in modern dance with Beatrice Vigners in Riga, soloist member B. Vigners’ dance group. Immigrated to Germany 1943. She studied for 2 years at the Lola Rogge Schule, Hamburg and graduated as a dance pedagogue for amateurs. 1950 moved to Frankfurt/Main, own studio there from 1955-2001. Focus: creative dance for children, modern dance, creative dance. From 1987 to 1995, lecturer for creative dance for pedagogues at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt. Entrusted the dance studio to a successor in 2001. Since then, occasional dance activity i.e. assistance in dance reconstructions.
