Guided visits
For groups (max. 25 people) a tour of the Pattery Museum is always a pleasant experience. Adapted to the composition and needs of your group we offer you a variety of topics. On request, especially for children of all ages but also for adult groups, interactive tours that allow an active discovery of the treasures of the museum. are also possible. For larger groups we try a different program in conjunction with the the cafeteria in "Haus Zahlepohl" or a walk through the surroundings of the museum.
For disabled visitors, the historic building of Raerencastle is unfortunately not easily accessible. However, we offer a special guided tours for blind or visually impaired people that takes about 120 minutes and offers participants the opportunity to learn about their other senses everything about the history of Raeren pottery an the building. Specially trained guides take care of the blind / visually impaired people and their attendants. To guanrantee the quality of this offer, the number of the blind / visually impaired people is limited to a maximum of 10 persons (without attendants).
For visitors who want to see not only the museum but also the surrounding area, we have one other offer:
- A tour of the surroundings of the castle with nice views on other historic buildings and protected landscape and subsequent individual visit to the museum exhibition.
All tours are available on request in German, French, Dutch and English.
Each guided visit takes between 80 and 120 minutes. The number of participants is limited to 25. The fee is 30, - € per tour.
